The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation officials will kick off “Bike Week LA” beginning this week.
Officials of Metro, LADOT, Caltrans, Metrolink, Good Samaritan Hospital, CicLAvia, L.A. County Bicycle Coalition, and C.I.C.L.E. gathered at 10 a.m. Monday morning, May 11th, to announce ways to make L.A. county more bike-friendly.

The launch of ‘Bike Week LA’ is to encourage more people to try bicycling to reduce the amount of emissions and promote a more sustainable form of transportation.
Bicycling is a great form of sustainable transportation and even greater that larger cities such as Los Angeles are now taking part to encourage bicycling and creating a bike friendly environment.
