Ferrari, Porsche Involved In Residential Street Racing in Beverly Hills

Beverly Hills Police were investigating reports of residential street racing in Beverly Hills that involved a Ferrari and a Porsche. The street race was all caught on camera by residence.

residential-street-racingThe incident occurred around 6:45 p.m. in the 700 block of North Walden Drive. Residents in the area filmed the two vehicles speeding down the street and running stop signs.

Neighbors in the area claim this is not the first time street racing has occurred in the area.

The race came to a halt, when the Ferarri pulled into the driveway which appeared to be overheating.

According to witnesses, there was still smoke when the cops arrived.

Families in the area are concerned for the safety of their children and neighbors.

When investigators were at the scene, a man claimed he owned the vehicles involved and also claimed to have diplomatic immunity.

Police have reached out the U.S. State Department for further investigation.

Illegal street racing is extremely dangerous. Not just for the drivers, but for the innocent bystanders in the surrounding area.
