The 1990’s rapper, MC Supreme, was killed in a crash on Saturday June 13th, on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu.
The collision occurred early Saturday morning when an alleged drunk driver slammed into the rapper’s car.
MC Supreme, whose real name is Dewayne Coleman, was parked on the shoulder of the highway when he was struck by a pickup truck.
The driver of the pickup truck was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving and vehicular manslaughter.
Coleman was pronounced dead at the scene and a female passenger in his car was transported to the hospital.
This accident occurred just a week before Malibu City Council is expected to announce a safety report.
PCH is known to be one of the most dangerous roads due to the large number of fatal accidents.
Just this past weekend there were two fatal accidents, including the death of the 90’s rapper.
The alarming number of accidents call for changes to be made in order to reduce the number of collisions that occur on PCH.
PCH may be a scenic route, but it is also narrow and many accidents are caused due to those who do not abide by the speed limit or drunk drivers.
