Nissan Recalls 300,000 Vehicles For Braking Issues

Nissan-recallsNissan is recalling nearly 300,000 vehicles for some braking issues that are raising concerns for the safety of their drivers.

The automaker explained that they need to adjust the console panel that could possible catch the driver’s shoe and slow down the braking speed.

According to the carmaker, they have received a report of an auto accident involving an injury.

Fortunately, there have been no deaths related to this issue.

In rare cases, the right edge of the driver’s show may get tangled on the center of the console’s lower trim panel.

Nissan North America plans to notify vehicle owners and dealerships and make the necessary changes to the console trim panel for free.

The recall is planned for mid-October. The models that are affected are the Versa Sedans made between June 9, 2011 and March 11, 2015. As well as, Versa Note vehicles made between April 23, 2013 and March 11, 2015.
