Monday morning of May 11th, a plane with over dozens of passengers made and emergency landing at LAX airport due to trouble with the landing gear.
SkyWest Airlines reported “problems” as it was about to land at 8:30 a.m. at LAX in Los Angeles.
Emergency vehicles were on the airport’s runway as the plane made it’s emergency landing.
Video footage showed that some of the plane’s landing gear did not properly deploy as the plane made the emergency landing.
Once the plane safely landed on the runway, passengers exited the plane and were placed on buses.
No injuries have been reported.
In 2013, Air Asiana clipped a seawall and slammed down onto the runway at the San Francisco International Airport. More than 180 of the 307 passengers and crew members were injured and three people were killed in the crash.
As a result of the plane crash, last year 72 passengers who were injured due to the Air Asiana crash, successfully settled their personal injury claims.
