Several teens have been injured after authorities say explosive fireworks were thrown over a fence during a party in Manteca.
The incident occurred on July 3rd during an unsupervised house party with a large group of Sierra High School students.
According to police, someone threw fireworks over the wall and into the backyard of the house.
Many teens were badly injured in the incident.
In particular, a young female victim suffered several lacerations, burns, and the side of her torso was badly bruised.
Another victim suffered a serious injury to the eye and will need reconstructive surgery.
Manteca Police Detectives claim there is no indication the attack was targeted on a specific group of students.
