Three Killed and Two Others Injured in Head-On Collision in San Juan Capistrano

head-on collisionOn Thursday evening three men were killed and two others were seriously injured after a head-on collision in San Juan Capistrano.

The incident occurred just before 8 p.m. on the two lane stretch of Camino Capistrano, south of Avery Parkway.

According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, three men were pronounced dead on the scene.

They also reported a dog in one of the vehicles was killed in the crash.

Two other passengers, male and female, were transported to a local hospital. They sustained serious injuries.

A SigAlert was issued for both lanes.

Speed may have been a contributing factor in this head-on collision.

No other information was released.
